Illusions

This postcard design was created for Woodside Bible's Student Ministries at their White Lake, MI campus. The theme that the client gave us was "Magic" and "Illusion" with the goal of expressing the idea of Myth. This postcard will be used as an invitation to students to attend a message series on "5 Myths that Christians Believe".
For the design, we opted for an vintage magician approach (think Houdini or Carter The Great) with a touch of circus and carnival thrown in. We used earth tones to enhance the vintage feeling and to make sure the theme didn't get too frivolous , which would have decreased the impact of the message. At Mustardseed, we love taking what's in a client's mind and enhancing it to create maximum impact.
