Christmas 2007
This postcard project was developed for the 2007 Christmas season at Hope Lutheran Church in Friendswood, Texas. We wanted to achieve a very light and frosty look with the card in order to bring some Christmas feeling to an area without any yearly snowfall.
Earlier in the year, Hope Lutheran sent out a postcard mailing designed by Mustardseed. The goal with the Christmas mailing was to do something in a very simliar style so that, when it came time to look for a place to worship during the Christmas season, some mental connection might be made between this mailing and the previous one. Therefore, we approached the card in a very similar fashion, using the same fonts and type styles, to create a 'familiar' feeling to the person receiving it.
